Purchase Information and Policies
Male and Female puppies are priced at $2,500 with a limited registration with the AKC. (This means you will not have breeding rights to the dog) If you are interested in breeding rights for your dog individual, approval must be met and the fee of the puppy with full registration is $5,000. A limited registration will be initially given and be updated to full once the proper testing has been completed. It is the buyers responsibility to complete the proper testing on or after the age of two years old.
We accept personal checks as a form of payment for deposits. We do not accept checks on the day of pick-up. ONLY CASH OR MONEY ORDERS ARE ACCEPTED ON THE DAY OF PICK UP. If you are using a personal check as a form of final payment, you must allow 10 days prior to pick-up of your pup/dog. At this time we do not accept credit card or paypal transactions.
Puppy Selection
The first pick of the litter is determined by purchasing order. A $200 deposit will determine order of pick. Before birth of puppies we will reserve up to three picks for both male and female and then general picks thereafter. At 7 weeks of age each puppy will be picked in order of purchase. Montana Fox Red Labs always reserves the right to the first pick of each litter.

If a deposit is given and appropriate sex wanted is not birthed...deposit will be refunded or applied to next coming litter for purchasing order.
Pups must be at least 8 weeks old before leaving their nursery at Montana Fox Red Labs. **No Exceptions**
Shipping
If you are having a puppy shipped, the FAA requires that all pups be at least 8 weeks old and weaned for 5 days to fly. Airlines require a valid health certificate from a veterinarian for puppies to fly. Pups can be shipped for between $300 and $500. This includes the flight, crate, health certificate and travel to and from the airport and Vet.
Visitation
The only way pups receive immunity to diseases and bacteria is through mother's milk. Pups can easily contract diseases and infections prior to vaccinations. Therefore, for the safety and health of our pups, we do not let anyone come to see pups until the pups have had their DAPPv vaccination. Also, for the health and safety of our pets and yours, we DO NOT ALLOW anyone to bring their pets to "visit" or meet a potential new "pack member." After pups reach 8 weeks old, they should be ready for their new homes if picked up in person. All pups that are scheduled to fly somewhere are required to be at least 9 weeks old and pass a health examination to receive a health certificate. We reserve the right to hold a puppy longer than the age of 8 weeks old if we feel the puppy needs more time with litter-mates. If an entire litter is spoken for before the pups have reached 5 weeks of age, we wait until they are 6 weeks of age and let new puppy owners come and make their selections, however puppies will only go home at 8 weeks.
We DO NOT allow visitors to bring their pets to Montana Fox Red Labs to reduce the possibility of disease, infection, viruses and parasites.
Puppy Care
Puppies will come with their dew-claws removed. The puppies will also be current on all vaccinations. Two doses of dewormer will also be giving before you receive your new puppy. We recommend that all owners spay/neuter their puppies. Most veterinarians advise waiting until puberty hits at about 6 months, however some will recommend to wait longer. Please talk with your veterinarian to make the correct decision for your dog.
